It is terrible to think that people cannot get their formula. How primitive is this!! Maybe associations should get involved and kick some butts!!
Seriously some actions need to be taken as it is vital that we get formula for our well being as you all know!! Good luck

Kelli

This is so unfair! Gosh you are out of your Formula for 4 weeks, and it seems that you are the only one who is trying to get it by calling the dietetician. This is really insane! I think you should go to his or hers boss and talk to him. The worst thing is your Phe level is so high as a result of not taking Formula for so long. Can you tell me what is your Formula? I don`tknow how Formula`s distribiution looks like in th USA maybe you should try to call to person who is responsible for that and maybe also the company that produces your Formula.

Departments not being able to get formula is so primitive that nobody should have to put up with. Are you able to ring a PKU clinic interstate. Maybe they can send you samples. It is amazing that your dietitian and your PKU are not doing more to help! I have to agree with Gosia's comments that this is just insane and heads should role for this as the formula is our diet!! Maybe I have come on too strong. It isn't them who is suffering because of their stuff ups getting the formula for you!

I agree with you all, Kelli this all is horrible! Exspecially since your dietitian and doctor aren't doing more to help you get your formula. Even a few samples is better then nothing. I really hope you get your formula soon because this is starting to sound ridiculous!
