Formula

Hello,

Are you talking about syrup like for pancakes? - Someone els sugested that too.

I have tried Strawberry syrup mix. - Did not cae for that!
I will have to try the strawberry syrup again, I have not tried it in along time.
Like Sandstorm, I drink my formula as fast as I can. I use a straw to drink it.

Thanks

Three times a day I drink my formula. I use 3 scoops of Phenyl- FREE 2HP mixed with 12floz. of cold water.
( I forgot to add that to my last entry.)
Erika :)

Hi Erika,

yes, thats the kind of syrup I'm talking about, those with different tastes... At the moment, I have "Banana" and "Rasperry". But its always a matter of taste... I also know a lot PKUs who like to drink their formula without any additional flavor!!!

Have a nice evening!

when i used to use phenyl free 2hp i used either chocolate or strawberry syrup almost every day. it was really great that way. i have been switched to phenylade and i switch flavors all the time cause i like all the flavors.

Switching Formula

Hello Kelli,

I was wondering if the switch in formula has been hard you?
Have you always been on phenyl free 2hp, I mean before the switch in formula?

I see that you have been missed :) .
It should make you feel good to know that others care.
I hope to get to know you better.
Erika :)

formula syrup

actually, there is only a trace of phe in chocolate. basically because it has no dairy. it is so small, in the phe books it says that hershey's choc syrup is 0. so basically it is under 1 milligram per Tablespoon.. that is what my dietician in the past told me. i am really glad to be back. my phone numer is the same. 803-370-0402 and so is my email... kelliwrenn76@yahoo.com anyone who wants to can call or email anytime. it is a cell phone with ATandT so if you have them on cell it is free. but it doesn't matter to me if you call anytime. if i dont answer just leave a message and i will call back.

Hi Kelli,

thanks for the information about syrup, I will watch out for the chocolate syrup when I'm at the supermarket next time... Maybe we can have a phone call soon... I gotta buy a phone card first (my father pays my phone bill - well we have kind of flat rate for all inner German phone calls... But I don't want him to pay foreign calls...)

Bye

Hi All;

A few months ago i changed from Vitaflo to Lophlex LQ and added Phlexy 10 sachets (because of my fitness training). For me it was a welcome change after using Vitaflo for a few years. You may have to get used to the different taste but for me it is no longer an issue. Does anyone of you change their formula intake because of sports ?

I used to run last year for the whole summer (three times a week usually) Unfortunately I had to stop because of the bad wheather in September and since then I never started again :( But I'm really planing to.

Well, back to your question, Paul, I never raised the daily amount of formula. I didn't have to... Don't know why.. How many times are you doing workout?

Hi Kate;

Normally I try to work out every other day 1 1/2 hours of fitness and about 30 to 45 minutes running. But when i have more time like now i go every day, especially in the weekends i fitness early in the morning so I have the rest of the day to relax or do the other things i need to do on that day. My dietician raised my intake, at next checkup they will do a full scan of all amino acids so i am curious what the results will be.
