Hi Maria, I also nursed both kids and was not on strict diet after delivery but I try to take the fomular. That's very important, as Krümel already stated, that you are supplied adequately with protein. Your blood levels will not affect your baby if you are breastfeeding. Also your tolerance is higher than normaly if you are nursing your child, makes life easier Have a good time!

  • Hi Paul, I agree totally to Sabrinas posting! It looks and tastes nearly like normal sausage. And also the small potato-sausages are very good for barbeque!

  • Sounds very interesting. But I thougt an enzyme therapy for PKU won't work, I remember former studies were the treatment with enzymes wasn't successful. Maybe this new therapy could be interesting in future for us!

Hi Jen, first of all, congratulations to your pregnancy! I have a 8 month old, health daughter. I can understand your situation, and the beginning of my pregnancy I had problems to get my levels up to 2, sometimes they were under 1mg/dl. My solution was to drink the formula more often (5-6 times a day) and special formula for pregnancy, also to get a feeling of satiety. Are there special formulas for pregrant women in US, too? This helped me a lot.
