I ask because its hard to read the grey navigations links for the Board, recipes, bloodlevels etc. Above that the links for notifications and conversations are all in the same red font and can only be read if hovered over.... Just wondering. thanks

For MPKU women looking for advice, guidance or someone to understand.... The NPKUA has established a mentorship program where a PKU woman can request to be matched with a trained mentor to help guide them through the process from pre-pre-conception to post-delivery. There are several women, myself included who enjoy the task of mentoring women in the MPKU process. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly as well. adultswithpku.org/MentorProgra…rnalPKUMentorProgram.aspx

Yup, baby is taking a lot of your nutrience so you have to keep up formula for energy and calories but your tolerance is higher. mine was about half what it was at the end of my pregnancy. Carrie www.mypkulife.wordpress.com

  • what formula is he on? where he is from is his formula covered by a government or health care plan? If so have him try to find a contact there and ask them the same question. He might be able to pay for the formula here and send the reciept to the entity that covers his formula there and maybe he can be reimbursed. I can give you a number for the Specialty Food Shop, attached to Sick Kids. They supply formula to eveyone in Ontario. If you live in Ontario (I do) your formula is paid for by OHIP. …

  • i take 2 different formulas and instead of taking 1 type one day and 1 type another day I either mix the 2 together or take in half my required protein a day from one and half from the other so both types in the same day. This way your daughter will be getting everything equally and consistently. there might come a time where she wont like swtiching back and forth when she is older. Then you might have to pick one good one with protein vitamins and minerals and go with it
