    • pasta with carrots and cream sauce

      1 cup low protein pasta
      1 medium carrot
      1/2 onion
      herbs de provance (or any other aromatic herb)
      1/4 cup heavy cream (or non dairy creamer)
      olive oil

      - in a pot cook your favourite low protein pasta, drain and set aside
      - peel the carrot and slice it thinly
      - peel the onion and chip finely
      - on a frying pan sautee carrots with onions in a little bit of olive oil
      - add salt and pepper to taste
      - when the carrots become soft, add herbs de provance, stir well
      - finally add the cream and turn off the heat

      on dinner plate combine pasta with the carrot sauce.

      It's a very tasty dish, it re-heats well and is a good idea for school or work lunch (you make 2 portions in the evening, one have for dinner and take the second one with you the next day to school or work).

      Note - to make it absolutely low phe skip the cream or non dairy creamer. Carrots with onions are just as nice.
