    • very easy to make, ridiculosly tasty and low Phe

      1 medium beet
      2-3 tbsp olive oil
      2 cloves of garlic
      salt

      1. boil whole unpeeled beet for about 45min, untill tender
      2. cool it off, take off the skin and shred on large cheese grater
      3. add crushed garlic, oil and salt
      4. serve cold


      notes:
      - goes really well with low protein bread
      - if you add chopped parsley and say canned corn you'll get a dazzling colour combination
      - may wish to add some rasins
